Before you write
If your question is about a specific number, our how we calculate page shows every rate and source we use. For official tax queries — such as your tax code, a refund or a payment problem — please contact HMRC directly, as we are unable to access or discuss anyone's personal HMRC account.
What we can help with
We read every message and aim to reply within a few working days. The enquiries we can help with most quickly are:
- Corrections. If you believe a rate, threshold or result in one of our calculators is out of date or incorrect, tell us which tool and what you expected to see. Accuracy matters to us and we update figures promptly when the rules change.
- Suggestions. Want a calculator or tool we don't yet offer? Many of the tools on TaxFly exist because visitors asked for them, so your idea genuinely shapes what we build next.
- Partnerships and press. For embedding our calculators on your own site, content collaborations or media enquiries, drop us a line with a few details and we'll point you to the right place.
What to include
To help us respond usefully, please include the page or calculator you're referring to (a link is ideal), a short description of what you were trying to do, and the figures you entered if the result looked wrong. The more context you give, the faster we can get to the bottom of it.
A note on advice
TaxFly provides free educational tools and general information, not regulated financial or tax advice. We can explain how a calculator works, but we can't tell you what to do in your personal circumstances. For tailored advice, please speak to a qualified accountant or financial adviser. See our disclaimer for more detail.
