Before you write: we are not HMRC
We cannot see, change or discuss anyone's HMRC record. For your tax code, a refund you are owed, a bill, a payment problem or your personal tax account, contact HMRC directly. Please do not send us your National Insurance number, UTR or bank details. We never need them.
Report an error
Accuracy is the thing we care about most. If a rate, threshold or result looks wrong, email us with:
- a link to the page or calculator;
- the figures you entered and the tax year you selected;
- what you expected to see, and the source if you have one.
We check every report against the official rules and correct confirmed errors promptly. Our method and sources are set out on how we calculate, and our corrections policy explains how corrections are handled.
Your personal data
To access, correct, export or delete your data, to close your account, or to withdraw consent, email hello@taxfly.co.uk from the address on your account and put "Data request" in the subject line. We respond within one month. Our privacy policy explains what we hold and why. You can change your cookie choices at any time with the Cookie settings link at the foot of every page.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email us with "Complaint" in the subject line and tell us what happened. We will acknowledge it and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If your complaint is about how we handle personal data and you are not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.
Partnerships, press and embedding
For media enquiries, content partnerships, or questions about embedding our calculators on your own site, email us with a few details. The embed code for each calculator is on our embed page, and our affiliate disclosure explains how commercial relationships work.
A note on advice
We can explain how a calculator works and where its figures come from, but we cannot tell you what to do in your own circumstances.
